STACCILEIFE is a Nigerian NGO registered with the government and concentrating on health care for children under five, although all sick children and sick mothers also receive free treatment. Malaria is a major health risk in the area. The team, based at Obafemi Awolowo University and including experienced physicians, runs mobile clinics that visit rural villages in Osun State. About 11,500 under fives have been enrolled and regularly treated since the service began and many have benefitted from free insecticide-treated bednets.
