Uganda
St Kizito Hospital, Matany, Karamoja, is administered by Comboni missionaries and is registered with the government and staffed by Ugandan health professionals. STACC sends funds which amount to over 20% of the entire cost of running the Children's Ward including the purchase of medicines, food, surgical supplies and linen. During the year 2009/2010, the ward with its 64 beds, cared for over 7000 inpatients and over 16,000 outpatients.
